Remote View
A webpage can be accessed remotely that displays the Razer console screen.
Access
To access the remote view, launch a web browser on a remote machine and enter "RazerSaw:8889/view" in the address bar, where "RazerSaw" would be the hostname (for local network access only) or IP address of the Razer PC.
Notes:Your network and firewall configuration may need to be adjusted to allow remote access. The webserver port (8889 by default) can be changed in the General tab of the Options window.
Use
The remote view is intended for use on sites where the operator is not always at the Razer console (e.g. in the yard collecting packs of timber). It allows the operator to see what is happening at the saw and allows for some basic interaction. The view refreshes at regular intervals and will alert the user to any error arising on the saw. If the user clicks on the image, a corresponding mouse click will occur at that position on the remote console screen.
Note: this feature is not meant to be a replacement for other more advanced remote control tools.
Job Ordering
The row of buttons at the top of the remote view can be used to manage the order of job tabs on the console screen as follows:
- Click the arrow on either side of a job button to move the corresponding job tab in the direction of the arrow.
- Click any job button to refresh the view (this doesn't switch to the corresponding job tab).
Notes:When the saw is not running, all jobs can be reordered to any order required. When the saw is running, only jobs to the right of the current running job can be reordered as they have not been run yet.If a Packfeeder 2 is running, only jobs to the right of the next pending job can be reordered as the picklist has already been sent for the current job and the next one.The colour of the job button matches the one of the job tab on the remote view. When a cutting sequence is running, the current job tab is displayed with a green background. If automatic Job Sequencing is enabled, the next job tab will be displayed with a yellow background. If one or more tabs have been dragged out into a separate pane on the console screen, they will form a new tab group and the remote view will only allow to reorder jobs within their tab group (i.e. the job movement will stop at either end of the enclosing tab group).
